When I add a video in Freemake Video Converter and try to watch it the video editor inside the program, I don’t see video. The screen remains black. How to fix it?

1. Make sure you use the latest version of Freemake Video Converter. Update here http://www.freemake.com/downloads/.

2. Then open Freemake Video Converter, add a video file and play the video. If there’s black screen, try to rotate video.

3. Try to turn off the acceleration. Go to Open Freemake Video Converter > go to File -> Options -> Acceleration and deselect all boxes.

4. Make sure you have all necessary codecs. We recommend free K-Lite Codec Pack.
